The first two articles listed above focus on SCFT. The 2016 Macromolecules article actually discusses the the older Fortran version of PSCF, but nonetheless correctly describes most SCFT algorithms used in the pscf_rpc and pscf_pg programs of the current version. The 2020 European Physics Journal article reports the existence of the C++ version of PSCF, and documents the performance of GPU-accelerated SCFT calculations. The last paper listed above announces the implementation of PS-FTS in PSCF, and discusses algorithms used by PSCF to efficiently find partial saddle-point field configurations in PS-FTS simulations.
